Thank you for visiting the St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church website. I think you will find that St. Andrew’s is a lively and welcoming congregation of all ages, committed to the Prayer book liturgical worship of our Episcopal tradition and compassionate outreach in the name of Christ to our community and world.
We invite you to join us on Sunday mornings for a spoken service at 8:00 or a service with music at 10:00.
- A nursery is available at the 10:00 am service for small children, and
- Church School is available for children in Pre-school through Sixth grade. The children and youth are involved in the 10:00 worship service the first Sunday of the month throughout the school year. There is no church school during the summer months.
- Youth Group activities are also available for older children at other times.
St. Andrew's is a church in transition. In October, 2015 we said good-bye and best wishes to Father Peter Harer upon his retirement. During the winter months we were blessed with supply clergy from various areas of Pennsylvania who brought new perspectives to St. Andrew's. In March, 2016 The Rev. James W. Strader joined St. Andrew's to serve as our Interim Rector. St. Andrew's has entered into a new phase of our transition. On February 28, 2017 we said farewell to our Interim Rector. Our search committee has called a new rector who will begin her service with St. Andrew's on July 2, 2017.
